Wow, what a cheap piece of junk. Bought it for my kid's bike, but I couldn't even bring myself to use it. It actually has a sheet metal screw helping to hold the head to the post, and they didn't even bother countersinking it... and it's a countersunk head.
Pros: None.
Cons: Junk.

Yes No Report as InappropriateThis seatpost is a great value. I've got Thomson seatposts on a couple of my bikes, but I was building up a beater and didn't want to spend that kind of money but still wanted the convenience of the two-bolt adjustment.
The Civia seatpost isn't forged from one piece of metal like the Thomson, but I'll still be surprised if it gives me any trouble. It was easy to adjust and it feels solid.
The look of it is pretty clean. It's just got three subtle dots (which I guess are some kind of Civia logo). It doesn't have any kind of hash marks to use as a reference for height adjustment.
