Got this because my singlespeed hub was slipping in my horizontal dropouts, no matter how hard I tightened the bolts. Also, I liked the bottle opening feature of the "fins".
It does a decent job holding the axle in place. There are two bolts hidden behind the "fins" in the picture that you screw in to pull the hub back to where you want it. However, the bolts have a very small nut (3 or 4 mm) that is supposed to tighten and hold the bolt in place, and it is very difficult to get a wrench on these.
Another issue has been it bends fairly easily (from encounters with rocks, I suppose). Once bent, the tensioning bolts don't do their job. I'm wondering how many more times I can bend it back before it snaps in two. By the way, it doesn't open bottles that well either. I think next time I'll buy the Surly or DMR chain tensioner.
Pros: Cute design.
Cons: Bends easily. Hard to tighten small nuts on tensioning bolts.
