Grippy
After trying various shoes I have found that these are the best. The grip is incredible. They support you feet very well. I use them on a road bike with vp flats. I do not clip in and these work great. I can maintain over 100 rpm without slipping off my pedals. No knee problems or hot foot that I got with clippless. Much safer when riding through town. They are pricy but they work and my previous free riders are still holding up. They were true to fit, ie I wear 11.5 street shoes and these are 11.5 and they feel great. These have the new sole that will not delaminate. I rode over 4000 miles on my older freeriders the ones with the older sole and they are still going strong. I wear those as bike shoes and everyday shoes and it has been a year. Shoes do not last forever. These appear to be more durable and a tad stiffer than the black and gray freerider.
Pros: Grippy, look good, fairly light weight, good foot support, stiff yet flexible when off the bike.
