Correction and addition to earlier review
Addition:
Took these to the mountains first time today. Descending 880 ft of 6% grades with 10 to 15 mph hairpins on clean pavement, coming into the turns at 35 mph, these things modulated so nicely and let me drop speed very quickly into the turn at the last minute. A real safety feature for me, who sometimes doesn't plan ahead enough on turns.
Correction:
They don't "skid the front and rear tires". It's a simple matter to skid the rear, of course. On dry pavement with Continental Competition tubulars the front brake will lift the rear wheel off the pavement, even when you're low over the drops, if you put it on firmly.

Yes No Report as InappropriateBest component purchase in 40 years for me
I have a Klein road bike from the 80's with Athena single pivot sidepull brakes. Coming down Boulder canyon at 55 mph last Saturday it started to dawn on me that I really need to get into the 21st century with some dual pivot brakes. I looked over the full line of Campy brakes and liked the orbital pad adjustment on these.
These things are incredible. I rode to the bike shop to get some cable housing with only the rear brake in place and found I had more stopping power than with both of the old single pivot brakes installed. They have this fantastic pad centering screw to get perfect centering of the brake on the rim, the feel at the levers is featherlight sensitive, and they're cheap. I know what you're thinking "His old pads were glazed." Wrong - I tried new pads before I replaced the old single pivots.
Pros: Stopping power - forget disc brakes - these things will skid front and rear road tires easily.
Stopping control - fantastic feel at the lever, very sensitive and progressive. No surprise skids.
Adjustability at the pads and ability to center the brakes.
Price - excellent value.
Ease of installation
Cons: Seriously - none.
Buy these brakes if you're running single pivots - it's a safety purchase.
