I originally got these with a cable kit from sram then lost one. I really like the idea, they protect the frame and don't move around and look better than putting protective tape on the frame. Something to adhere them to the cable housing would be nice, I may try a dot of superglue if I lose another.

Pros: Work as intended protecting the frame.

Cons: They can fall off

I got these for a couple of bikes where the shifter cable housing was rubbing against the steerer tube. So far, they seem to be serving their purpose. I haven't had any problems with them falling off the cables and they are providing some protection for the paint.

Not perfect but work pretty good

I have these on most of my bikes. They work well on my road, commuting and touring bikes, but wont stay on my cross bike. They do protect the paint but in muddy bumpy conditions, the stick on frame protectors work better.

Pros: Simple to install and adjust. No stickers to install on your frame

Cons: Not great in muddy bumpy conditions

OK, not great.

Like the reviewer above, these do the job byt tend to pop off. I have them on a cross bike that I use for commuting on bad pavement. I caught one coming halfway off. Probably need to secure it with zip ties/silicone/safety wire.

Pros: Works when attached.

Cons: Tends to detach. Needs additional securement.

they look cool, and do they're job, on cable rattles, and frame patches. could maybe use some type of adhesive inside to keep them from falling off, would probally work great on road bikes, but not so well on mountain bikes, seem to fall off easy.

Pros: great look, good alternative to frame patches, easy installation

Cons: dosent seem to stay on very good, already lost two on my mountain bike
