I've got about a 1k on these now. The Marathon Supreme is a great volume commuter/touring do it all tire. In all conditions its performed remarkably well. However, if you are in situations where a lugged tire would be choice, then it probably won't be as surefooted. With the right pedal power it will get the job done and still let you pick up some speed on the way back home.
Pros: Good all around tire. Less weight than the Big Apple. Puncture resistance. Reflective strip for visibility.
Cons: As expected it will spin when out of the seat pedaling on the slick stuff.

Yes No Report as InappropriateFast rolling, fast cornering and grips wet pavement. These would be the last tire you ever buy because they last forever. They can be scary on loose stuff- change to knobbies for off road rides. No flats.
Pros: No flats. These tires laugh at goathead thorns.
Great tire if you ride mostly roads. Great touring tire.
Cons: None, unless you ride them off road.
