Good durable choice if you're on a budget

So it's not King-quality. But it is cheap, and smooth enough for most purposes. Seemed well made.

Pros: Simple, cheap, durable

Cons: i wouldn't expect to get many years out of one of these.

Cheap, works

Built up a beater for a friend to try mtbing with and this headset worked well for a PDX winter. When I sold the bike, the headset was still perfectly functional. Surviving the 8 month PNW mud deluge is no laughing matter.

Pros: Good performance for the price point

Cons: Not the prettiest headset.

This is a very cheap head set I use for winter application here in the midwest I dont want the road salt tearing up my kings. with that being said I have about 2000 miles on this headset and for the price you cant go wrong. its not as smooth as some more expensive headsets but at the end of winter I can clean up with soap and water and store till next year. I'm giving it five stars because for the price it is a fairly durable headset.

Pros: price, easy cleaning

Cons: none

good heavy duty headset for the money. easy installation. Im using one for a mtn bike and one for a cross bike. I dont like the fact that they dont come with an upper bearing cup cover, just a thin washer for protection from dirt or water. (I've confirmed this with Universal Customer Service)

Pros: cheap and Heavy duty

Cons: no upper cup cover
