Topeak Defender RX Rear Fender

Could only recommend for hardtail mainly street use! Have to agree with other testers... don't bother for mtn bike use!

Pros: Keeps mud off your back when not riding aggressively.

Cons: Simply not enough clearance for modern day longer travel suspensions. Can't mount on adjustable seatposts. Much better options out now that mount on frame above rear tire.

Horrible!!!

The locks on it always go loose as you ride. Finally the nylon that keeps the lock on the seat tube broke. Used it for 3 months! Stay away from this product!!! I will try to sew it together, but, I will most likely get a different brand.

Works great until a hard impact, then snaps. Extension broke off first, then broke from a fall.

Pros: Looks good and broad protection.

Cons: Fragile and a bit heavy.

works great nice and wide for fat tires easely removable for the nice days you dont want the weight. stays where it needs to be and stops the streak up your back. only problem i have is it wont fit under a rack but thats not what its designed for.
