Solid semi-aero rim, good braking performance
I laced this to a powertap for a training rear. Overall its a good solid rim. Built up pretty stiff, and I've put around 20,000 road miles on it with no problems, still true and some life left on the brake track. The indicator dots are great for knowing about rim integrity.
Pros: Durable, predictable braking, indicator brake tracks.
Cons: Sort of a tweener - probably won't last as long as a box-section eyelet rim, not really super light or aero.

Yes No Report as InappropriateSuch a great road rim for building up a wonderful set of wheels. The price is great for the quality you get. They are stiff when built up with a good set of spokes. By no means the best, but no slouch either. You will not be disappointed in these rims. Sadly these are not eyeleted which helps durability of spoke holes.
Pros: Stiff

Cons: Non Eyeleted

I was able to measure these rims, calculate spoke length and build with no problems. The wheels ride great and are very durable.
Pros: I've beat these rims to death and they keep going. I've never had to true them once yet. I really am impressed with their durability. I've only had one other set of rims that never needed any other work and they are also DT rims.
Cons: Right at first, a seam on one of the machined rims wasn't smooth smooth as I'd expect on a more expensive rim but this wasn't an expensive rim. It smoothed out in time and the rims are fantastic.
