Alloy Cable Hangers

Bought these to replace the stamped pieces that came with the brakes. These look a lot better and I think they clamp the cable better.

Pros: Look good, and they do their job.

Cons: Put the allen heads facing out, if they're inside they can be hard to access for adjusting.

Great upgrade for cantilever brakes

These straddles work extremely well. They are easy to "thread" and the tubing and donut combination works very well

Pros: Holds cables tight
easy to use

Cons: expensive for a straddle

These things are simple, light, and easy to adjust.
