Have used 4 of these chains with my XX groupo, they seem to last decently long, approx 1500 miles each chain. I run 2 at a time to get double life out of theremainder of the drivetrain. Pros: Light, strong Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: May 11, 2013 Reviewed by: Robert N., Michigan Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
I use Sram chains b/c they've never let me down. This one is no exception. I am very pleased with my purchase. Pros: Sram 10spd. Cons: None. Very nice chain. Do get a chain-wear tool so you'll know when it's time to replace it. I've been through a bunch of these chains over the last couple years due to regular maintenance and haven't had any problems. Pros: smooth running, works great on my SRAM drive-train Cons: expensive, don't like that the powerlocks are single use Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: September 18, 2011 Reviewed by: Colin K., Virginia Was this review Helpful? Just about the best I have never broken one of these chains whether it be on a road, cross or mountain bike. Love the quick link. Pros: 10 speed!! Quick link!! Pretty light. Cons: You pay for quality. Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: August 10, 2011 Reviewed by: Justin D., Oregon Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
Slightly lighter I got this 10 spd chain to go with my X.0 grouppo. The hollow pins make them a wee bit lighter. Nickel silver inner and outer plates sound good so they gotta be good, eh? Pros: -10spd compatible
-Power lock link makes installation super easy Cons: -kinda pricey Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: June 21, 2011 Reviewed by: Ranier D., Armed Forces Europe, Middle East, Africa, Canada Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
This is my new favorite chain. Its really light but the best thing is how well it shifts and how quiet it is. I haven't put many miles on it yet, but if if performs as well as the 1090 that I rode across the country a while back, then I will be very pleased. My only gripe with the SRAM 10 speed chains is that they don't have reusable quick links. I'm sure there is a reason for it and I will keep buying them regardless. Pros: Light, shifts very well, quiet Cons: No reusable quick link Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: January 04, 2011 Reviewed by: Brian K., Oregon Was this review Helpful?
