These are my first Ergon grips, and I'm totally sold on them. The feel great, and eleviate some hand / wrist fatigue once the angle was tweaked-in just right.
The only problem is that the bar end plugs are horrid. They are rigid plastic, and have to be shaved or trimed to fit. I kept trimming to get them to go in the bar at all, and when they finally did they were too loose. The display plug (you only get one) works perfectly, so now I have bar that's plugged on one end only (tossed the rigid plugs). Pros: High quality, excellent design, look snazzy. Cons: Ergon should just package two of the display bar-end plugs, as the ones intended for use are nearly useless. Minus one star on an otherwise 5-star product. Primo Grips Some people think Ergons look dorky, but you'd never care after using them. Takes the strain off your hands. I use these with a Surly Open Bar for the perfect combination of control and comfort. Pros: Super comfy. Comfy, but missing one thing... These look and feel great. It's kind of maddening, however, that in order to run these with bar end shifters (or presumably with reverse brake levers) you need to file out a huge groove in the aluminum. I would imagine this is a pretty common issue, and it was quite a pain to deal with. Reviewed on: January 05, 2013 Reviewed by: Jeff O., Oregon Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate

Just Like the Plastic Ones These are great grips and match the rest of the asssesories on my cruiser just swell. they are comfortable on long rides and stay in place without the least amount of twisting. They do however share their companies' high price. Pros: Clamp Strongly
Good looking
Comfortable Cons: Pricey Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: February 17, 2012 Reviewed by: Earl D., Minnesota Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
Was sceptical about these until I warapped my hand around a pair. Very comfy, like a Lazyboy for your hands! Should help with numbness and pain associated with nerve pressure. ERGONomical Yeah that's where they got that brand name from. Can you believe it? And yeah it IS pretty darn comfortable and ergonomic. For the kind of rider that likes to rest that outer palm pad, it is really just perfect. The two tone is aesthetically pleasing and also functional. The fact that it is also a lock-on seals the deal.
If you suffer from discomfort on the outer edges of your palms, these are worth the money. Pros: Ergonomic. Comfortable. Well-designed. Cons: No lock-on on the inside grip. Bar-ends need hammering in. Message to Ergon: see ODI. Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: January 13, 2012 Reviewed by: Nathan C., California Was this review Helpful? Wow. Comfy I went through multiple bar and grip setups to find a comfortable combination. Coupled with a north road style bar, my commuter is so comfy!
I always thought that multiple hand positions were a necessary evil. I have never had the urge to need multiple hand positions - these grips offer support in all the right places. Granted, all of my rides are 25 miles or less, but I am pretty confident I could go much longer on these grips.
Pros: Perfect fit, support in the right places Cons: none. Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: January 02, 2012 Reviewed by: Steven S., Oregon Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
Like the other Ergon grips I've used, these really shine in comfort, and more importantly, in their therapeutic properties. I have nerve damage in my hands and wrists; these grips allow my rides to be much more of a pleasure. Pros: Comfort
Ease of installation
Quality Cons: Could be a little grippier when sweaty Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: June 14, 2011 Reviewed by: Orlando, Canada Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
Great Grips Weight including bar plug: 157 grams.
Installed these on a rigid singlespeed 29er. They look and feel great. I was concerned about 'cork' thinking like a wine cork, but these biocork grips feel very much like the standard GP1 grips, they just look very different. I have no doubt they are green and made with cork but they seem durable and feel great.
The wide palm rest is wonderful for dispersing the pressure on a larger area of your hand. Pros: Work Great
Look Great
Affordable
Lockon ring Cons: Not available currently in Grip Shift size Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: September 27, 2010 Reviewed by: randyharris, Arizona Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
