Always the right length Easy on and easy off, keeping the cables the right length for easy maintenance. Just a dribble of lube helps them slide on easy, yet won't slide off and be lost. They are a great alternative to the crimps. Please note that the image is highly magnified. The tips are just slightly bigger then regular crimps. Pros: Easy to use. Cons: None Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: January 31, 2013 Reviewed by: Ryan K., Pennsylvania Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
Nice cable end that doesn't have to be crimped. It is bigger than the normal cable end, not a bad thing, just be advised. Reusable which is a plus. Pros: Reusable. Nice finishing touch. Easier to install with secure fit I thought these would fall off of my mountain bike in no time, but they actually have stayed on really well. They are much easier to install than the alternative and are more attractive. Pros: Much easier to install than traditional crimps. Cons: Easy to loose once you removed them. Favorite new bike part? Whoever thought of these was a genius! I'm always changing or trading components and this keeps my cables nice and neat and looking complete! I had no trouble getting them on both brake and shifter cables as some have noted, nor with them popping open, or coming off. Pros: Moveable and removeable.
Make your bike look complete. Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: December 10, 2012 Reviewed by: Kyle G., Santa Barbara, CA Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate

Surprising stable little cable ends i felt like a chump when I bought these seemingly designer cable ends. Well, they kick butt! They're reusable, they stay put, and they look sharp instead of gawdy. Pros: They work! Reusable, sleek. Cons: You might feel like a poser. Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: February 17, 2012 Reviewed by: Shane W., Oregon Was this review Helpful? Jagwire Cable End Non-Crimp Tips these crimps are awsome. They look and work great, easy to install. Dont try to open it for any reason, as you will not be able to get back together. or good luck Pros: great invention. works great Cons: pricey Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: October 31, 2011 Reviewed by: Kyle R., Texas Was this review Helpful? Meh I love the way these things look. But, it's their longevity and performance that has me at odds. I put two on my rig. One on the front derailleur and one on the rear. My front derailleur has a strange placement and leaves the wire open to being grabbed. Well, it did that and the tire ripped up this little guy. Tore out the colored portion and left the rubber boot. So, to say that the rubber boot works great? Yes. Are they strong? No. The tip on my rear derailleur is holding up just fine. Pros: Good looking, easy to install, light Cons: Flimsy, not strong, expensive Would Buy Again: No Would Recommend: No Reviewed on: September 20, 2011 Reviewed by: Mark S., Oregon Was this review Helpful? Flimsy These end crimps dress up the cables a little but the main advantage to them is that you can remove the end cap to thread the cable back through the sheath without doing any damage to the cable.
Be advised that these crimps mainly fit derailleur cables. They can be made to fit the thicker brake cables but it requires a lot of effort (slide the rubber end on first, then roll it only the cap).
The caps themselves are a split design and not very strong so be careful when inserting the cables. Pros: none Cons: Only fits derailleur wires Would Buy Again: No Would Recommend: No Reviewed on: August 05, 2011 Reviewed by: Richard, Washington Was this review Helpful? non-crimp tips hmmmmm.... what to say about these. They are cool looking, and reusable is a nice plus. No problems installing them and they seem to stay on good but its a very minor detail on any bike in my opinion. Pros: cool looking
work as described Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: May 04, 2011 Reviewed by: Terry T., Hawaii Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
Small but Practical These fellas do what they say. They were a little tricky to get on, but once on they stayed put. They are reusable and I have taken them off and on several times. Be careful to thread them on slowly or the alloy part will separate. Pros: Nice finishing touch
Reusable
Stop any fraying in it's tracks Cons: A little tough to get on the first time
The alloy part will separate, if you twist too hard Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: April 27, 2011 Reviewed by: Vince D., Minnesota Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
great look i have gotten a lot of compliments on these things on the trail, look great, and really set off a bike, for such a little product Pros: super easy installation, look super cool, and reuseable Cons: they are plastic thought they were aluminum Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: April 03, 2011 Reviewed by: Ricky P., Oklahoma Was this review Helpful? I bought these for a new build so I could leave some extra length on the cable without having a big coil hanging in the way. They seem to stay in place well but I'm still not sure I want to leave them on permanently.
