Awesome pedals!!! Been using this for four months now and I told myself I'm not going back to the Shimano brand. The design is so simple and the pedals are made to take the wear, tear and abuse of daily commuting on my road bike. Pros: Easier to get in and out than SPD's.
Lightweight by commuting standard.

Great pedals while they last I seem to have pretty bad luck with all the Eggbeater/CB pedals I use. They work great for a year or more, then something breaks. It's been a different thing that breaks each time, too. These are supposed to be rebuildable, which I find encouraging. I do love the release on these. I also, however, have a large permanent scar in the back of my calf from one. So... yeah. Mixed bag. Reviewed on: January 05, 2013 Reviewed by: Jeff O., Oregon Was this review Helpful? These pedals give one of the best performance / money ratio in the market. They work as well as any other Crank Brother pedal, but they cost just a fraction of what a top of the line cost.
They are really lightweight. Pros: Great performance, good deal, lightweight and this new version has a stronger spindle than the older ones. Cons: None so far. Traildog Easy in, easy out, easy maintenance. I have been riding Crank Brothers pedals for several years, Eggbeaters originally. I bought a pair of Candys a couple of years back and I still have them on a SS that is ridden regularly. The new pedals that I just got look to be better than the originals. Pros: Very comfortable, easy to use and get used to, platform helps distribute power across the pedal and helps prevent foot pain(hot spots). Cons: No greasing tool with the new pedal but the old one will work with them, but be careful not to push out the seal on the spindle end.
