Bought black 50 degree version
These are definitely my favorite bars right now. I am running them with full-length Oury lock-on grips, Paul Thumbies and some mountain levers. There is plenty of extra room on the back-swept portion of the bar. There also is a lot of room on the straight part for lights, bells, coffee-holders, etc. These, like all mustache bars, will shorten your seat to bar length, so if you are comfortable with how far your drops are, you might look for a longer stem or get ready for an adjustment.
I got the black bars since silver is never in stock in 50-degrees (I'm looking at you QBP). The black seems powdercoated and is shiny and smooth. This smoothness results in the possibility of having the bars slip when doing something like bunny hopping a pothole or wheelie-dropping off a curb. I ended up buying a 4-bolt mountain stem which has held the bars in place better.
I quickly adjusted to the generous width of the bar, and the 50-degree sweep seemed perfect since my first ride. The next bars I am probably going to put on a different bike will by the Jeff Jones H-bar, which looks pretty much the same as the Aldrich, but with a big touring loop in front and probably higher build quality.
For the price, these yield a pretty comfortable, nice looking setup.
Pros: Great width
Mountain component compatibility
Very natural back sweep
Cons: Black
Smooth stem mounting area results in slipping with dainty road stem (-1 star since I had to buy a new stem)
