This headset is the only one I've found that mixes JIS standard cup size (30.0mm) and ISO crown race (26.4). The reviewer below is commenting that the cups fall out because he is trying to install them on an ISO frame (30.2mm). At least ISO headset (Origin8) includes a JIS crown race but literally none that I found besides this one do the opposite. So it has a very specific purpose and seems to do that just fine.

The quality seems ok for a cheap unit, the cups are rather large but they don't get in the way. The bearings I'm sure wouldn't hurt to be replaced but after installing with plenty of grease they seem to work for now. Again, anyone buying this headset should be buying for the very specific purpose of using an ISO fork with a JIS frame, so hopefully they will be happy to just know this problem solving headset exists.

Pros: JIS cup diameter and ISO crown race. Allows you to use a frame with 30.0mm head tube (JIS) with a fork with 26.4 crown race (ISO)

Cons: Quality appears nominally cheap for the price, but time will tell. Major con is that this product is not promoted for it's intended purpose. Can be difficult to find but I have verified with digital calipers that the sizes are exactly as specified.

Terrible, terrible crap

This just doesn't work. I've used plenty of threaded headsets with no real problems, and this one just doesn't cut it. The cups aren't sized properly for a friction fit (they drop right in, and fall right out), the bearings are crappy, and the locknut just won't stay locked. Avoid and get a cheap Ritchey or something.
