a wonderful product I purchased the jagwire flexible brake noodle to extend my brake cable housing, having purchased a new stem and adding about an inch of height to my cockpit, my housing just wasn't going to work, reluctant to buy a full set of cable housing for such a minor clearance issue i began hunting for a reasonable solution, i found this product and realized it was just what i needed. the interior lining is top notch, and the stainless flex housing looks, and works sharply. Universal cycles shipped it fast, and cheap with the new pick-a-product-shipping. Pros: Excellant design
easy to install
stainless/aluminium construction

Basic flexible brake noodles. Note: They are not threaded, so if you're thinking of adding a bolt to serve as a cable tension adjuster, you're out of luck. Alternative application for these: making the bend into the front cable hanger of cantilever brakes on a cyclocross bike. Depending on the design, this bend can get pretty sharp on smaller 'cross frames, to the point where you may notice increased cable stiction at the lever (i.e. sluggish cable return). I've used these flexible noodles to take the brunt of that bend, coming out of the cable stop, and they work great in this application. Added flexibility when you need it These noodles have allowed me to mount rear v-brakes on retro frames made originally for cantilevers. If you're having trouble getting a conventional noodle to fit, these do the trick elegantly and efficiently. Although what the previous reviewer said about loss of power makes sense, I have not had this experience with top of the line v-brakes, like black ops and xtr. E.g., I can skid on pavement no problem with one finger. They're a great problem solver if you need it. Unique!? These are springy and return to straight when tension is released. I was expecting them to be like Gumby: bend and set. As it is, I did not feel comfortable using it where I traditionally use a noodle: going into the rear derailleur. I can't think of any applications where these would work better than rigid noodles. I have had to bend noodles to get more angle out of them, hence if these were not springy I could recommend them.
