Excellent floor pump This is probably one of the best pumps I've ever bought. It accepts both presta and schrader valves. Pumps up tires in no time and the pressure gauge is a nice bonus. Pros: Solid build, pumps tires very fast Cons: None Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: April 23, 2013 Reviewed by: Nicholas C., Florida Was this review Helpful? Park Tool Floor Pump Good priced, reliable floor pump that I have had for well over a few years now as my other floor pump went to pot. Pros: Gets the job done, cheaper than many other floor pumps that works just as good. Cons: Gauge didn't work accurately initially, but no probs over past year Would Buy Again: No Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: December 25, 2012 Reviewed by: jon g., Oregon Was this review Helpful? good - simple - functional this pump functions like a pump should. the thumb lock is a little hard to flip and seems to be loosing up just a bit after 12 months of use. but for the price this one is hard to beat. Pros: pumps up tires
easy to read psi gauge
Cons: none so far Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: October 27, 2012 Reviewed by: Bryan S. Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
great pump I saw some of the reviews that were concerned about durability of this pump. The foot pedals are somewhat flimsy, but mine has held up great. The dial is easy to read and accurate. Pros: Great value great gauge, versatile. Cons: foot pedals a little to flimsy Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: September 08, 2012 Reviewed by: ARIC S., Washington Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
I've used this pump for while now and it gets the job done pretty well for the price. You might choose something else if your wanting more pressure faster, but for volume mtb tires it works fine. Pros: Price and Park Tool Quality. Cons: After a while the shaft into the body seems to be getting looser, but no ill affect. Awesome pump. it has ends for presta and schrader valves so you don't have to have different pumps. The guage is easy to read, overall, it just rocks. Buy it. Good value I really like this pump. The engagement is good, the gauge is easy to read (it's slightly higher up than some other pumps), and it's from Park Tool. For the price, I don't think there's a better pump available. Pros: Park Tool brand, cheap, easy to use, stable on the floor Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: July 05, 2012 Reviewed by: Tiernan A., Oregon Was this review Helpful? No Silca, but decent This thing works OK. It's more fiddly than a good ol Silca Pista, but it does have Schraeder support. Who knows what a Dunlap is? I don't get the sense this pump will last very long. Way more plastic than I like to see in a tool I'll use regularly. Reviewed on: June 26, 2012 Reviewed by: Jeff O., Oregon Was this review Helpful? Simple, quality pump at a great value. The air volume from this pump is enough to get my tubeless tires to mount quickly. Excellent Home Pump No frills pump...good for exactly what you need. Nothing fancy on it, but it's hard to be for the price Pros: Cost Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: October 18, 2011 Reviewed by: Patrick, New York Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
Park Pump Initially worked very well, but after two weeks of use the plastic base developed a crack on the threads that connect to the main tube causing it to leak air during the pump. Maybe it was just a flaw in the PFP-6 that I had, but I upgraded to the PFP-4 hoping to avoid a repeat failure. Pros: good price Cons: quality was suspect on the plastic base Would Buy Again: No Would Recommend: No Reviewed on: September 14, 2011 Reviewed by: Shannon B., Oregon Was this review Helpful? This pump has been great. The feet make this sturdy, and the the ball needle stays snug inside the slot underneath the gauge. Pros: Worth the money, durable & sturdy. Cons: Presta valve can sometime be tricky to clamp. Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: September 10, 2011 Reviewed by: Greg, NYC Was this review Helpful? I bought this pump to leave in a bike room at work. It has gotten a lot of use, and is holding up great. Pros: Parts easily replaceable. Cons: Pressure gauge needle takes a while to settle after a pump stroke. Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: July 18, 2011 Reviewed by: Matt R., Colorado Was this review Helpful? This is an excellent pump for the money. I have had it for about a year and I have not had any problems. Definitely would recommend it to anyone in need of a solid, quality pump. This is a very nice pump for the money. You can get a floor pump for about the same price at a discount box store but there's no comparison. The pump works with schaeder and presta with no adapters. The nozzel goes on and off your valve with a flip of the lever. Pump operation is smooth. It seems to be well made. Pros: Ease of use
Value Cons: None yet Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: March 30, 2011 Reviewed by: David Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
seems very well made. have already gotten comments from borrowers who say the piston is very smooth and that it has good volume. should be good park tool quality and should last a very long time. Pros: good volume, smooth action, good gauge placement and quality materials. Cons: the double 'auto' action may be convenient but sometimes it takes a pump or two to get it to switch over from presta to schraeder Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: February 27, 2011 Reviewed by: spenser b. A great functional and economical floor pump. Not a whole lot more to say. The top of the pump body has hose clips on both sides so if you clip the hose in as pictured you can carry the pump by the handle. The gauge has the little guide needle on it that you can position so you don't have to look closely to know when you've hit the right pressure.
