Lizard Skins DSP 1.8 Bar Tape

I use fizik tape on all my bikes. The white fizik tape can get a bit slippery when you sweat. I wanted something with more grip. This tape is super cushy and very grippy which I like. What I didn't like it that it moves around and every few rides I am left with little gaps in the tape. You can easily unwrap and re-wrap it, but it becomes a pain.

Pros: grip, very cushy, looks great.

Cons: I find that it shifted around on me and required periodical re-wrapping.

Lightweight tape, rubberized material bends well on application. Is not as foamy as other Lizard Skins tapes, doesn't have the same support, but also doesn't bunch and mound as much when laid up.
The surface is sticky, gives good grip dry, but also retains grippy feeling when wet. Water does soak in, but grip stays.

However, I suspect since this is slightly porous, you will have to do your best to keep grease and fingerprints off tape, as it will likely soak in and be hard to clean.



Pros: Light, very good grip both dry and wet. Soft surface.

Cons: It better last long at this price, which would be the only question to its value.
