great pump crankbrothers products are typically great, and this pump is no exception. it comes with a nice cover that allows for it to be strapped to the bike--i have mine strapped to the seat post. i refuse to walk my bike out of the deep with a flat tire. Pros: two different setting: high volume or high pressure, lightweight, durable Cons: none Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: June 22, 2012 Reviewed by: Tory S., California Was this review Helpful? Nice to have both valves in one pump. The pressure gauge is useful, although it really doesn't improve the challenge of getting 100lb+ into a tire after a change. Not as easy as a cartridge, but simple and effective.
Not the most compact, and I'm beginning to lean toward pumps with flex attachments, if pump is used carelessly, the action can tear off a valve. Pros: Dual function, inexpensive Cons: Not the most compact, therefore more of a touring, commuting or mtbk pump. I was not a fan of this pump. the connector valves were of a poor design, and paled in comparison to my Topeak Peak with regard to ease of use and efficiency Pros: looks cool, aluminum body Cons: terrible valve design Would Buy Again: No Would Recommend: No Reviewed on: March 01, 2012 Reviewed by: joshua , oregon Was this review Helpful? Nice little pump This pump is pretty compact. The dual valve head works better than pumps that only use one head for presta and schrader valves. Handy gauge. Pros: Pressure gauge eliminates guessing. Durable metal construction. Small. Cons: None! Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: March 22, 2011 Reviewed by: Christopher R., Arizona Was this review Helpful? Pretty easy to get a tire to 40psi in the high volume setting but once you switch to high pressure it will take all day to get to 100psi. the gauge is a nice touch so you sont have to guess what psi your at. great pump. I borrowed a friends while at whistler. Works great with any tube valve. I like the high pressure setting. Pros: pressure reading, high volume and high pressure setting Cons: heavy Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: November 07, 2010 Reviewed by: ARIC S., Washington Was this review Helpful? Very compact and easy to use...great for MTB but may take some work to get high pressure for road use even with the high pressure setting but you will get there Pros: gauge and design are nice Cons: the label at the bottom of the pump will peel off easily and is made of cheap foam...very difficult to pump when trying to get high pressure Would Buy Again: No Would Recommend: No Reviewed on: October 19, 2010 Reviewed by: John H., San Jose, CA Was this review Helpful?
