Ok, but no other options

You need this to mount your Garmin unit. I find the rubber band mounting a bit suspect, I safety wired mine on as I don't want to lose a 400 clam computer when the o-ring brakes.

Pros: Fits GPS perfect, allows for bar or stem mounting (can rotate 90 degrees)

Cons: Poor overall design IMO, no other choice for options though

The 500 Quarter Turn Mount works great and is easy to use. It holds firmly over the harshest terrain.

The revised Garmin mount is slightly easier to use on vertical and horizontal mounting planes. Unfortunately, the plastic used appears to be the same type as original mounts, so if you're replacing a mount because the release tab broke off of your original, then this replacement will not be any more durable.

Pros: Great design. Stem mount and bar mount options are great!

Cons: Mount is not sturdy enough, and a hard crash - just the shock of impact without even direct contact to mount or GPS - can be enough to cause mount to break and GPS to go flying.
