Great Quality a gift...he loves them...soft and supple where his words Pros: easy to install Cons: fade Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: August 29, 2012 Reviewed by: Todd S., Vancouver, WA Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
Light weight and tacky feel, don't slip when wet. Pros: weight Cons: durability Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: February 01, 2012 Reviewed by: Mike A., Michigan Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
Best light grip on the market, bar none. I have these grips installed on both of my mountain bikes. Initially, I was simply searching for the lightest possible production grip, and these are genuinely light. it doesn't end there. Even though they are light, they still provide plenty of padding for my hands to stay comfortable during my average training ride of up to 30 miles. They don't absorb sweat or cake up with trail gunk, and what little dirt they do pick up cleans up nicely with soap/water. They stay put on the bar; no twisting or movement. I've got over 500 miles on them so far, and they are showing little to no wear.
I can't say enough about these grips... they are my "go to" grip. Pros: Lightest grip I've found.
Good grip without tackiness.
Durable.
Stay cleaner.

The best non lock on grips If you are looking to save some weight on your bike. These can help. Much better than the sponge grips. They don't slip at all and you never get the throttle feeling like you would with other non-lock on grips. Pros: Value for money, good choice of colors, good feeling on your hands. Cons: Maybe be hard to get on the first time. Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: November 19, 2011 Reviewed by: Big John, Hong Kong Was this review Helpful? I have been using lock-ons for years, but wanted to keep my new xc bike light. I got them on with an air compressor and they haven't slipped at all on my easton haven carbon bars. Very grippy, comfy, and have just the right amount of cushion. On my scale I got exactly 50 grams for the grips and end plugs. Pros: light! ESI grips Comfortable grips at a very low weight makes it a great combination....could be used without gloves but turn slippery in hot summer days, but I have sweaty hands otherwise the grips are solid and don't slip on the bars Pros: Light
Comfortable
Easy to install
great color selection Cons: Slippery ONLY if you have sweaty hands like me Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: May 07, 2011 Reviewed by: Hector S., New York Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
ESI grips ESI make a great grip and for those looking to reduce weight, add a bit of style, they have all sorts of color options to give your bike that little edge of bling. These grips, although light weight are still very comfy and last a long time Pros: Quality, color options Cons: none Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: April 17, 2011 Reviewed by: Kyle R., Texas Was this review Helpful? The perfect racing grip These are the last grips I will ever buy. They are the lightest on the market, come in many colors, and feel great on long rides. Do yourself a favor and try these grips, you'll be happy you did. Pros: Most comfortable grip, many colors, inexpensive. Cons: Installing can be tricky, I used windex in the grip and on the bars you have 15 seconds. I've been running these grips for 2 years now and will not be looking back. I've never had a more comfortable grip, I've tried Ergon's, various lockons, and other foam grips and none even compare to ESI's.
I have never gotten these to slip. Not once. As far as I know, these are the lightest grips you can buy that won't 'throttle' on you. Pros: Comfortable, light, don't slip, come in various colors, cheap Cons: The ends of them get torn up from trees pretty easily. i use these on my xc race bike. super light. comfy. even after hours or riding, they hold up, and my hands are happy. Great grips I have used the racers edge grips on my cross country biek for the past few months. The grip is a slightly smaller diameter than the ODI ruffian lock on. They are also about half the weight of lock on grips. Installation can be difficult but not impossible. Pros: lightweight
wide range of colors
Cons: difficult installation Reviewed on: December 07, 2010 Reviewed by: Edward E., Arizona Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate

Perfect Grips are a bit personal, but these are perfect for me. Pros: Narrow, Soft, and Grippy Cons: None Would Buy Again: Yes Reviewed on: September 03, 2010 Reviewed by: DG, California Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
Not as good as the Chunky grip (IMO) Nice soft/cushiony grip. Just the right amount of length (I have small hands). Cinch to clean. Easy to mount and remove. I used both compressed air and alcohol method to mount and remove. If you use the alcohol method you have to wait til it dries to use. Nice, non-slippery feel, almost tacky, gloved and bare handed. Can't attest to wet condition use. My only knock is that it's too thin. I prefer the Chunky version. Pros: Very light, comes in different colors, soft/cushiony, easy on/off, easy to clean, durable, non slippery feel Cons: Too thin Would Buy Again: No Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: August 20, 2010 Reviewed by: Ooklathemok, Illinois Was this review Helpful?
