Hope Bolt On Seatpost Clamps

Holds like a champ and looks great. If you have the qr version you can get a bolt and nut from Hope to convert to the bolt on. I have one of each now so I can swap around if wanted.

Crap

This seatpost clamp is not great. It's light and looks nice, but it is definitely not strong or well designed. When the bolt gets tight, the bolt head no longer sits flush once the tabs have been pulled in beyond parallel. This side loads the bolt and can cause the bolt head to snap off, and thats with not that much torque. I have a bunch of friends who had the same problem and had to get their clamp replaced on warranty. My advice, buy a clamp which has a rotating barrel nut!

Perfect strong clamp

I was looking for a little color on my all black bike. I chose the red color to match my Hope hubs I picked for my wheel build. This clamp is nice and strong and well made.

very light weight 19g, nice machining and finish, my only concern is the aluminum pinch bolt, but it hasn't had any issues, so far so good. Anodized colors are really nice as well

Strong gripper

It's important to size the seat tube correctly and it's good Hope has a large size selection to get it right.
Hope put an oversize bolt on this so you never have to worry about slippage or strength issues.

Pros: Over size bolt for superb clamp force, light weight, great finish and look.

Cons: None.
