I bought these to dress up an exposed boss on a Surly Crosscheck I converted to 1x9. However, they are so heavy I just put the cable guide back on, sans cable.

Pros: Look fairly nice, although I could do without the big logos.

Cons: Way heavier than they need to be.

Not sure what problem these are trying to solve. They stick out further than the bosses by a lot, don't include the screws to mount them to the frame and a HEAVY, must be made out of depleted uranium or something.

They're not even particularly shiny.

Very attractive shifter boss covers. I would have preferred the option to buy them without the over-prominent 'PS' stamped on them, but a file, wet-sand sandpaper, simichrome, and some elbow grease takes care of that issue.

Pros: attractive and useful (if you have need)

Cons: stamped logo can detract from visual appeal

A clean way to cover up unused shift lever bosses.

Pros: Works as intended.

Cons: Could do without the PS logo. As noted, for the price a set of mounting screws should be included.

Clean way to cover shifter bosses on fixed gear conversions. Worked as advertised. Would be nice to not have the PS logo, but overall I am happy with them.

Pros: Nice finish

Cons: A little tight fitting and doesn't include mounting screws.

Only option I could find

These work as needed. I'd really prefer if they were simple, polished covers without the etched "PS" logo. No hardware (i.e. screws and washers) is included so you have to scrounge in your old parts bin to fine some.

Pros: works as advertised

Cons: logo is not necessary and detracts from simple aesthetics. Lack of screws is disappointing for price paid.
