As others have mentioned this is a very attractive piece of componentry. It appears to be very well designed and constructed. I don't have thousands of miles on it yet, but it looks like it is built to last Pros: Looks great, well constructed Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: June 14, 2012 Reviewed by: Joseph Y., Washington Was this review Helpful? Rolling With The Best This is a strong and attractive chainring. It surprisingly little runout, especially given that it costs about half of what a Sugino 75 costs. Pros: Hard material.
Stiff.
Attractive.
Excellent value. Cons: None Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: March 22, 2012 Reviewed by: Justine V., New York Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
great ring! changed out my old stock 48t ring with the all city 314 and could immediately see and feel the difference. precision machined and looks like it will take all the abuse i throw at it this fall. Pros: light enough, pretty to look at Cons: a bit spendy, but not too bad Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: September 10, 2011 Reviewed by: Brent M., Oregon Was this review Helpful? custom crank build I used this to finish up my crankset. I went with All-city because its a pretty well known name and i wanted somethin i could trust. I bought the 42t for hill climbing. Pros: Strong 1/8" chainring Cons: no assortment of colors in this size. Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: July 30, 2011 Reviewed by: Joe R., Oregon Was this review Helpful? I have the 46 tooth on my fixed gear road bike, and after what I estimate to be a couple thousand miles, there's still absolutely no wear on the teeth. Bolted up to a Sugino Messenger crankset, this chainring comes as close to perfectly concentric as I've ever had, which makes tensioning your chain a dream. Besides the durability, the bling factor of this chainring is much more obvious in person, as the writing and detailing on the inner edge gleams in sunlight. You cannot find better value in a 1/8" chainring for this price. Pros: Price, detailing, durability, concentric. Cons: None. Solid I bought this chainring along with a frame and several other components, and right out of the box it was the first thing to really visually impress me. This thing is built to last, no doubt about it, and it's pretty to boot. I've been running it between 32 and 60+ miles a day for just over 6 months and it's still going strong, the teeth are barely starting to show signs of wear. The folks at All-City know what they're doing. Pros: Beautiful, strong, good value.f Cons: I wish I could think of one just to be a fair critic, but really no cons in my mind as of yet. All City All Day Really nice chain ring. They use 7K series aluminum, which should make them quite strong. There machine work looks to be good (I didn't put too much time to inspect it - just wanted to ride). After installing and setting up the tension I was happy with the product. It seems to be a pretty concentric (much better than a cheap $20 chainring I previously had installed). I would buy this product again if and when I need another chainring. Pros: Concentric and color options Cons: none Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: September 01, 2010 Reviewed by: Kyle W., Oregon Was this review Helpful?
