Nice I have used other bashgaurds that are of the plastic variety, but none hold up as well as the e-thirteen. Pros: Strong,
Lightweight
Have not broken one yet. Cons: expensive. Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: March 18, 2012 Reviewed by: ARIC S., Washington Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
Looks great & works like a charm! Upgraded my girls ride to a 2x9 setup.
She ditched the big ring and I put one of these in its place.
Already paid for itself after a ride last weekend when she brushed it over some rocks! Her teeth remained unscathed and the turbocharger still looks new!!
Pros: Quality made with the best of plastic poly technology. Lighter weight than many other solutions out there. Cons: Price. Possibly the color. Granted the white matches her bike better than the black one, but I think its gonna get dirtier quicker!

Looks better on the bike I didn't initially want a while bash guard, but no one had the black version at the time. It's grown on me since then, though. It looks a lot better on the bike than it did in the pics.
As far as function is concerned, the brass sleeves for the bolts are a big improvement over previous versions that would crack if you overtightened the bolts and slip if you didn't tighten them enough. It's also less brittle. After a year of riding it still doesn't have any chipped areas. BEST bashguard on the Market. Every single mountain bike i own from XC to Downhill has this guard. Looks really sharp and it crazy light! Strong and no issues with cracking.
I have them in black and white. From my sub 25lb xc bikes to my 40lb+ downhill bikes. Pros: looks,
performance,
light weight,
strong,
Good price,
Just a bad a$$ guard! Cons: NONE!
More color options would be sweet!!! Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: October 01, 2010 Reviewed by: J. E C., New Jersey Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
