Enduro Zero ceramic bearing

The one bearing that was unclearly listed on the Enduro Mavic wheel upgrade site. As mentioned in other Enduro reviews - their web tech info really sucks, NOTHING like DT or American manufacturers, but that can be expected from a major importer working on low costs.

I wasn't blown away by the manufacturing quality (just look at the photo, you'll see). Hoping these go for a few good thousand km/miles. Installation is challenging (see other reviews), but the wheel runs well.

Ideally, you may want to take a caliper to your existing bearings to confirm their 7x22x30 (for example) sizing number to make sure you get the right set. See my review on Park digital calliper for that.

These also take some time to settle in if you don't' want to double your costs by buying all the tools, and I'm not completely convinced about the quality of their tools. A shop tech told me how to remove/install, but you really are on your own, with the help of SOME online videos. Unfortunately, the Enduro direct videos are not your best source.

Pros: Wheels roll very well once you sort through bugs.

Cons: This isn't a 30 minute job, research, prepare, and take some time to get the transition right. Hopefully not all wheels are as challenging as my Mavic SST's were.

Not all that

I thought that ceramics where going to be the magic bullet for wheels improvement...now i'm not to sure. Are they smooth...yes, but I don't know if they are any smoother than a good steel bearing.

Pros: good entry level ceramic
cost for what it is.

Cons: For me they where no better than a good steel bearing.
