Hope Stainless Quick Release Skewers

Prefer these in both look and feel to the Salsa skewers. Work well and seem to hold steady, no problems with them!

Pros: Nicely machined, and high quality. Should last a long time!

Cons: A little heavy, but no big deal. No road specific 130 mm rear option (but you can just cut the rear skewer shorter).

I got these to go with the Hope hubs I had built up. They require regular lubricating to keep them opening and closing smoothly. They work fine but about as well as anything else I have used. Nothing special really but certainly better than a cheapie pair

Pros: Will match your Hope hubs, are distinctive, nicely built, fairly light weight.

Cons: Using them they strike me as being not really better than anything else.When they dry out and get sticky they are not a joy to use

Hope New Quick Release Skrewers

Nice design, great colors, light, great quality product and does what it's suppose to.

Nice Looking Skewers

I've yet to be disappointed with any Hope products that I've purchased, and these were no exception. The details of the construction and build are amazing. Very intricate design. Clamps the wheel pretty well too. Definately feeling of security when closed. Comes in a variety of colors to add some flare.

Pros: Construction, design, colors.

Cons: A little pricey.

These are nice skewers. I bought them to match my other Hope products. They lock tight and securely. You need to put a dab of grease between the cam and the washer to ease opening, but they work flawlessly. And unlike my shimano skewers, XTR anyway, you can release the wheel with one hand. Open, turn, take the wheel out. Works the same way going on.

Pros: Look good. Work good.

Cons: none

These are my favorite skewers. I had been using another set for about 5 years, and never had them come loose. I purchased a new set to replace the stock DT skewers that came on a new bike. While the DT skewers were slightly lighter, they did not cinch down tight like the Hope, would eventually work their way loose, and also had that annoying feature that when you put the lever past 90 degrees to the axle, they feel a little loose. That never happens with the Hope skewers. This is a "set it and forget it" skewer. They look good too in the anodized colors.

Pros: Strong, reliable, long lasting.

Cons: None.
