Very useful tools at a great price
This was definitely one of my better purchases. Very strong tools with a solid feel. They have come in handy in many situations and are a great addition to any toolbox.

I bought these tools in early Summer 2010. I've used them a bunch for gear changes on my track bike. For the price here, they are hard to beat. I've never had any issue with them. The tools are well made and perform great.
It's true that they aren't the best in the world. Another racer had similar tools that they spent around $150 on and they were definitely nicer, but not $150-nicer.
Bottom line: If you're looking for a reliable set of tools for your track bike or fixie, look no further than this set from Pake. It's got all the functionality you need at a price anyone can afford.
Pros: The chainwhip is sturdy and I've had no issues with it after using it for 1 season. The lockring combo tool is the same way. It has performed without any issues and having the open-ended wrenches on the other side are very handy for wheel and pedal removal/installation.
Cons: You pretty much have to use 2 hands for each operation to prevent the tool from disengaging from the cog or lockring. This problem isn't specific to the Pake design as most similar tools have the same problem. You have to pay the big $$ to get tools that are essentially captive to the cog or lockring and the small inconvenience is well worth the $$ savings.
