It has a slight menthol/minty scent which is nice and cooling. Does not leave you oily or grease, it's clean and your hands aren't a mess after application. Not a fan a this cream. It irritated my skin. Would Buy Again: No Would Recommend: No Reviewed on: February 03, 2013 Reviewed by: Ryan, Pennsylvania Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
Only chamois cream with tea tree oil. Tea Tree Oil prevents all sorts of dreaded microbial life forms from getting a foot hold where you don't want that kind of thing going on. Works great in east Coast USA climates. (I don't even need chamois cream riding out West)
Also available in nut-free ladies version. (which I also have used in a pinch with no ill effects except for the comments from the peanut gallery! ) Pros: Minty - but not too minty.
Hands down (my shorts) the best chamois cream available! Cons: expensive - but worth it to protect the family jewels.
I am addicted. Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: March 04, 2012 Reviewed by: Davey T., Vermont Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
Any fit related parts such as saddles & grips & chamois' are very much up to personal preference & chamois cream is no different. Although there are some companies that get their products right for most people. In the opinion of me & many of my comrades DZ Nuts is just dandy. I have never tried Assos (which seems to be the go to for a lot of people), but I have tried several lesser known brands & DZ Nuts beats them all. It feels amazing on the skin, does not absorb into the skin until it has done it's job, has anti microbial properties, has the most natural ingredients of any cream I have seen & is in a convenient squeeze tube.
I cary this stuff with me whenever I ride. Pros: Great Ingredients
Great Feel & Function

DZnuts is thinner than Paceline and Assos and has a little less minty feeling. But it was still too much burn for me! I prefer Paceline and Beljum Budder which don't have the tingle! Pros: thinner than other creams Cons: still too much burn! Would Buy Again: No Would Recommend: No Reviewed on: October 19, 2010 Reviewed by: paul a., California Was this review Helpful? Love it Chamois cream, like saddles and chamois themselves, is very much a matter of personal preference, so take any review with a grain of salt. That said, I like this product very much. I used Assos for years to good effect, but when my tub of Assos ran out recently I started looking for something with fewer strange additives and decided to give this a try. I found the DZ Nuts every bit as effective, and like the less gelatinous texture better on application. I've done some long days with this (130+ miles on consecutive days) and I can verify that it sticks around for the long haul, though as with any chamois cream re-applying on very long rides can be most welcome. Pros: Works for me, and doesn't wear off to quickly. Not loaded with parabens and other chemicals that it may not be the best call to rub all over your, uh, chamois. Cons: Absurdly expensive, which to me is the only major drawback. Quite a different consistency than Assos, I'd suggest trying before you buy to make sure it is your cup of tea (single-used packets are available).
