mud clearing and strong. my local single track trail had some.muddy spots thanks to some rain. And i must say, i could not have done what i did with my old orxy levers.
shorty after riding through mud i encounted a quick snaking switchback avoiding a root i had stopped myself a inch away from a tree head on. Pros: awsome grabbing power! good mud clearing design. Shorty 6 These cantilever brakes are awesome! I love them! I am running them on my CX bike. They look great! The adjustment is easy. Mounting them was easy. Any kind of terrain or weather conditions and they have been very reliable. Great brake! Pros: Looks great and rides great! Durable and dependable. A definite improvement over previous versions. Good power and modulation, and setup is really easy. The stock pads are so-so, but the holders are compatible with Kool-Stop road inserts. Pros: Easy setup

The brake pads are your standard Shimano cartridge style, and the package includes several lengths of Y cable to dial in the brake arm angles. Kind of a waste when they could just bundle a link wire and cable carrier, but I digress.
