Don't overinflate

I had good results with the 700c version, but decided to put an old MTB on the trainer this winter.

Sidewall says safe to 100psi. I'd been running it for two months at 50-60psi, but increased it to 80psi and the tire blew off the rim after about 10 minutes. I reinstalled at 60 psi and so far so good. I'm not sure 60psi is enough to use a 1.25" on rollers, but seems okay on regular trainer.

I've never had this problem in several 100 hours use of the 700c version.

Pros: Does not shred little bits of rubber all over the floor and wall.
Easy to install.
Reasonable price.

Cons: May come off the rim at high psi (unless I did something dumb - but nose-wiping and tire installation is something I can usually do without help).

Would Buy Again: Yes
Would Recommend: Yes
