How big of a weight weenie are you? I bought these tubes to trim some weight off my mountain bike. I'm sure they did, but I didn't notice. They work fine though, but I would just buy the cheaper tubes unless you are conscious about weight. Pros: Work fine, durable, light. Cons: I don't really care about the grams and the ounces. Nice and small I bought this tube for it's smaller form factor. I carry it in my racing seat bag and appreciate the smaller size. It holds air and performs like any other tube, not better or worse. Pros: Lighter than conventional tube Cons: none Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: October 14, 2012 Reviewed by: Ron C., Oregon Was this review Helpful? Q tubes rule! Blow 'em up, ride 'em hard, rest, repeat. Pros: Don't cost an arm and a leg. Cons: Someday, they might. Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: September 28, 2012 Reviewed by: William , New Orleans Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
I'm slowly using Q tubes more and more. They have a great low weight and are fairly durable.
I have not had any major issues with them. Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: September 13, 2012 Reviewed by: Stewart C., Oregon Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
I needed a 80mm valve stem & this is one of the very few available. No advertised thickness but it feels like a pretty standard 0.9-1mm, a good compromise of durability with weight. Pros: Many stem sizes available Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: August 25, 2012 Reviewed by: Ryan, CA Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
I mostly like them They work, they are light weight. Perhaps not the lightest but noticeably lighter than other tubes I have.
I am not sure they are for me and my riding style. If you commute or tour, I suggest looking at other tubes. For the racing or weight weenies, this is a good choice.
Pros: light weight, reasonably priced, takes patches fine. Cons: Loses air noticeably faster than standard tubes, slightly longer than other tubes. I put these on two bikes at about the same time, on one bike they are still inflated and going strong, on the other they both blew within a week. The Specialized tubes that I bought to replace them are still inflated. I don't blame the tubes wholly for this because I have a set of these that are still fine six months in, but the slightly more expensive tubes worked where these would not. These are my go-to tubes. They last for years (albeit with several patches). The only reason I've ever had to throw one away is when the valve stem gets worn out, which can be quite a while. Value! Great tube -- will probably only buy super lights in the future. Helped to save weight when switiching to fatter tires for commuting / gravel. Nice long stem. Pros: Value Cons: 300 miles in -- None -- ask again at 3000... Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: March 12, 2012 Reviewed by: Jon F., Harrisburg, pa Was this review Helpful? Very light and removable valve core Why do you want a removable valve core? Sometimes a cranky pump will bite your valve core off. If it ain't removable you are out of luck. Also one can add some Stans sealant to the tube for thorn protection...NICE! Pros: Removable valve core
light weight
good price Cons: Don't need em so much now that I run Stans - but always carry one for complete Stans failure (which does happen on occasion) Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: March 04, 2012 Reviewed by: David T., Vermont Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate

Can't say that they are super puncture resistant or anything, but they have a number of sizes and are fairly cheap. I'll keep using them and spend a bit more on nicer tires. The Q Super Light Tubes are a great deal on lightweight butyl tubes. Quality has been consistently good. The one odd thing with them is that they have removable valve cores, so when using a thread-on pump fitting, you need to make sure that the valve core stays securely installed or you'll lose all the air. A quick preemptive twist of the top of the valve core with pliers prevents this problem. Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: August 31, 2011 Reviewed by: Eric S. Can't beat the price They only cost a buck or two more than regular tubes, but they're approx 50g lighter. Good quality, long valves, and spiffy red valve caps included! Check the valve core's tightness, though, mine were loose and leaked about 20psi overnight. Pros: Cheap
Light

Nice, light, cheap... Comes in a variety of sizes, and the longer valve stem works great with my Velocity Deep-V rims. Have had a couple blow out on me, but mainly due to pinches... Q Tubes are a decent tube for the money. They aren't the lightest but they seem to be reliable and are pretty inexpensive. I'm not a big fan of threaded valves as they tend to wear pump heads faster than French valves.
For the money, the Michelin Airstop seems to be a better value but the Q Tubes work too. Reviewed on: March 09, 2011 Reviewed by: Aaron, OR Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate

light and cheap At about the same price as a normal tube, why not go light? Unless you ride in an area with lots thorns, perhaps. Pros: Light, cheap Cons: Maybe thinner than average? These tubes are ok. I have them on some deep section wheels and tires that can run 125 psi. At that pressure, the tubes pop. A pinched tube was not the culprit - 2 popped and tires were seated correctly. I am currently running them at 105 psi and they have performed as they should. They are an average tube. Pros: Long stem for deep section wheels. Cons: Superlight must mean supterthin. Do not run above 105 psi.
