I didn't realize how gross the pad's in my helmet were until they fell apart. At which point I kept getting velcro marks in my forehead.

Insert the Headsweats band.

Not only does it keep the toxic salty sweat from dripping into my eyes, it prevents mysterious indents in your forehead.

Pros: Cheap and washable

Cons: White... would be nice if it came in black or color.

Great sweatband. I wear these under my helmet for all my rides; and it prevents all sweat from dripping down onto my face no matter how long the ride.

Pros: Don't even know your wearing it.

Cons: None.

Headsweats Topless

I am a Headsweats devotee, and these Topless headbands are nice when it is really hot out. Plus since it doesn't have a front and back like the regular Headsweats Shorty, you can rotate it around a bit when the front gets really sweaty.

The only downside for me, since I am bald, is when a bug gets in through a helmet vent and is directly on my scalp -- then I wish I had a Shorty on!

Pros: Cooler in hot weather
