The black logo ruins the finished look of bikes (if you're worried about limiting advertisement).

Sizing seemed a bit off.

Otherwise, the seat contacts were solid and it performs well enough.

I hate how easily you can mar the surface of any seatpost other than black. Wish they would produce a non-glossy version of these.

what more do you need?

I like these Kalloy seats posts: silver, easy to adjust, and a decent amount of set back. You can spend more on a post, but its mostly for vanity.

I purchased this to replace a slipping seatpost and dithered over going with a two bolt design even though it was not intended for the fanciest bike in the stable. I'm glad I did not, this is a perfectly adequate seatpost for a much nicer bike than the one it lives in now. It holds firm both at the collar and at the seat clamp, and looks very good, the branding isnt as large as it looks in the photo.

Why in the world would you ever want to buy anything else? For the practical cyclist, this is the way to go - light enough, cheap enough, and more than functional. The one I got does not have the logo on the side, which I prefer, so it's ok. It's a dual bolt design, so it's best to mount the seat while the post is not in the bike - and if you lose the little bits that hold the saddle in place you're screwed - but what more could you need? Clean, light, polished, perfect.

quality, cheap post

best priced seatpost if you're looking to drop some weight and don't need anything other than a simple, one bolt, clamp mechanism. the black looks real nice as well. well made for the price

Much lighter than the stock seatposts on older or budget-oriented bikes. Clamps securely; seat hasn't moved at all since installation.

If I had a 27.2 seat tube I probably would have gotten the Kalloy SP-248 Radiussed Seatpost, but if you need any other size this is the post to get.

Great classic style seatpost available in any size you could want at a great price. Nice forged clamp and lightweight

A basic seatpost

I got this seatpost for an old bike because it was available in the odd size I needed. It has an attractive finish, and it's reasonably light.

The level adjustment mechanism came loose once during a cyclocross race. That was probably the result of poor installation on my part, but it's the kind of thing that can happen with these simple one bolt mechanisms.

I had been buying Kalloys Laprade seatposts for most of my bikes, but I sprung for this one on a recent build. I was impressed with nice finish compared to the Laprades.

Large Selection of sizes

When re-purposing my 18 year old MTB, I decided to replace the 3 pound steel seatpost it came with. Unfortunately, the seat tube was an irregular size. Thankfully, I found this post, which weighed comparatively nothing and was super cheap.

Great product

Not the high end flashy stuff.... but you can find any size you need. Looks great... NO issues!

Pros: Looks, price, size options,

Cons: Is a hairdew heavier than Contasore's post

Great Seatpost

This post replaced a stock suspension post on my wife's bike. This is light and eassy to install. Saddle mounted up real easy and has stayed in place.

Pros: True to claimed size, secure mounting bolt. Clean and light post

Cons: None yet
