Woodman Axis SL Comp Headset

This is a decent headset that looks nice and is relatively inexpensive. There are nicer-looking and stronger options out there, but they cost considerably more.

Cons: Not the strongest, but good enough for most people

Not well sealed

The headset is not well sealed and not durable due in part to having an aluminum fork crown race. The headset did not function as well as my Cane Creek or Chris King and after a couple thousand miles I gave up on it.

If your goal is light weight this is a good option but understand it will not perform very well.

Cons: not durable

Very nice headset, installed well, light weight, and looks amazing on the bike. No problems with setup, adjustments, moisture ingress, or function. Good choice

top cap included a torx, not a 5mm allen bolt. this i had to change since im not carrying another tool in my ride kit to remove this. otherwise, very nice headset for the price. heck... for twice as much it is a good headset. sealed cartridge bearings, good machining, easy install.

Pros: price, build quality, cartridge bearings

Cons: very lightweight. not simply weight, but translation for stiffness, durability etc.

This is a great headset for the price. It doesn't come with spacers.

very nice looking headset. solid feeling bearings, for an economy headset I am very satisfied.

very beautiful headset. I ordered the silver color and it's cosmetics are flawless. Installation had no hitches, specs are as advertised.

Pros: affordable price for sealed bearing headset.

Cons: none so far
