used these to increase the stack height on a new headset so I would have to cut the steerer any shorter. Work fine.

Just your standard go to headset spacers. Light weigh and cheap. I like that they don't have any company logo's on them.

Good cheap spacers. They're as flat as the more expensive ones (the only real thing that can differentiate a spacer). Just get these -- don't get the dopey "carbon fiber" ones. These work, look fine, and you can even stack them intermittently with the King ones for bling on a budget.

Not all headset spacers are created equal

These headset spacers fit weird. They seem to move around just a little on a 1 1/8 steerer.

Pros: i guess they are cheap?

Cons: they do not line up and have weird inner diameter lips that appear to move, unless there is a significant amount of torque applied.

Good anodizing and quality of machining. Plenty of sizes.

Order a selection and keep spares so that you don't end up with a mixed bag of sizes and finish next time you are building a bike or adjusting your current set-up. (Mixed spacers -not very 'pro'!)

Spacers that space well and look good doing it

I've used both silver and black 1" spacers and they are thicker and of higher quality than many other spacers I've purchased. While they are slightly more expensive per item, the quality more than justifies that additional expense.

Pros: high quality
substantial

Cons: none (the slightly higher comparative price shouldn't be considered a 'con' given the quality of the spacers)

Vuelta Aluminum Headset Spacer

A good quality headset spacer with many different sizes. A good, inexpensive purchase when setting your front end height. Higher bars? Put spacers under the stem...Lower bars? Move the spacers onto the top of the stem and steerer tube.

Pros: Quality and cost.

Cons: None.

These are a must have if you're building a new bike, installing a new fork, or adjusting your position on the bike. They are inexpensive and are available in many sizes. They work great.

Didn't discolor or cause problems. Never know it's there. What else do you want from a spacer? And carbon? I'd rather not bother with the expense.

It's hard to find fault with headset spacers. They're reasonably lightweight, well made (they're round, smooth, well-polished...), and inexpensive. Nothing too cutting edge about them, but that's fine with me.

If you read up on threadless stem and headset installation, you'll find articles discussing the importance of perfectly flat, parallel surfaces: headtubes, stems, and spacers are all supposed to be perfectly machined to fine tolerances. So, are these Vuelta spacers such finely-machined specimens? Probably not . . . but they're inexpensive, come in the right sizes, and have never given me the slightest hint of a problem. Your mileage may vary.

these are very good quality spacers. they give you the opportunity to mix the silver and black and create a pattern. fit very easily on the steer tube. they allow you to raise your h'bar to comfort levels. great size selection to dial it in.

perfect for purpose. These are simple spacers, the silver ones are standard polished and with different sizes, easy to get your stem to just the right level.

Pros: simple, look good, different sizes help get handlebars to just the right height.

Cons: a little loose around the steerer tube, but nothing to worry about.

Frankly, I can't imagine having a problem with headset spacers. What could go wrong here? These spacers have done nothing to alter this view. These are tied with several other products as the best spacers I have ever used.

Pros: two colors!

Cons: generic. no bling.

These worked great. Not as nice as lightweight carbon spacers, but the silver and black match really nicely with the finish on Thomson Stems. No complaints.

Vuelta headset spacers

these spacers work well and are very durable compared to other ones I have bought in the past that ended up breaking on me while riding. These spacers do not flex and work great for the price. Not as light as carbon spacers, but get the job done

Pros: decent price, strong and durable

Cons: sizing issues with direct mount stems (may have to file the outsides of them down a bit), weight (if you are into that)
