These haven't gotten great reviews but I love mine! I don't really need shin guards most of the time so I basically use them on cold days to cover my legs so I can still ride with shorts! A LOT better than long pants options if you ask me! And I like that they have removable plastic inserts for the days when I am railing rock gardens. I prefer the option of using with or without knee pads versus the combo products and Pro-Tec delivers!

Pros: Protect well and keeps legs warm in winter when riding with shorts!

Cons: None, glad I bought them!

I am not a big person and I have never worn anything sized Large/XL. I am always a size small or medium in everything I wear. I ordered the small/medium size and they were way too small. I was convinced I somehow got the junior size but sure enough, there is the small/medium tag sewn right in to the things. Might want to figure out how to try a pair on first. Great pads if you get the right size.

pro tec shin guards

these pads are great for overgrown trails and defense against vegetation. alot lighter to carry in pack than plastic shin pads.
