PAUL BRAKE LEVERS

I HAVE A CATRIKE EXPEDITION AND I NEEDE A BRAKE LEVER WITH A SHORTER HANDLE BECAUSE OF SPACE LIMITATIONS AND THESE BRAKE LEVERS WORKED PERFECTLY. THEY ARE SIMPLE, WELL DESIGNED AND MADE. THEY STILL HAVE GOOD LEVERAGE.

Pros: GOOD QUALITY
REASONABLE PRICE
NICE FINISH

Cons: NONE FOR ME

Minimalist lever

Neat looking lever keeps handlebars uncluttered. I'm using it for a fixed gear front brake. I have no trouble stopping with one finger, but I suppose difficulty will vary depending on the brake caliper used. Quality is excellent, as expected from Paul Components. If you are using taped drops,though, there will be no easy way to swap bars due to the lack of a hinge on the clamp. I gave it 4 stars. A hinged clamp would make it a perfect 5.

Pros: High quality, functions well.

Cons: Pricey, no hinge on clamp.

Good things come in small packages

I use this brake on my fixie to give me the extra bit of breaking power necessary when flying down hills. I ended up needing another one (22.2mm left hand black) but universal didn't have it so I bought it direct from Paul. Would have preferred it here so I could have saved on shipping. Love this little brake, doesn't detract from the look on my bike, if anything it makes it better! Doesn't hurt my finger to pull on it so don't think that a single finger lever can't work for you.

Pros: Small, looks good, does the job well, my favorite Paul Components lever.

Cons: Isn't perfect solution if only braking method.
