Travel Agent
The problem solved by the Travel Agent is being able to use road brake (short cable pull) levers with linear pull ("V brake") brake calipers.
"Allows you to use cantilever brakes levers with linear pull brakes"
If you have a set of V brakes that you'd like to use on a drop bar cross bike, for example, this is the hookup, without so much as a bar re-wrap. Suddenly, can stop, will stop.
Be sure to buy new brake cables as well. (This replaces the "noodle" so no need for that)
Pros: -Solves the problem with minimal fuss and expense (compared to new brakes or levers)
-Very well made
-Clever design
-Clear instructions included (follow them)
-Replaces the "noodle"
Cons: -Adds a very minor bit of complexity/gizmology to a brake's setup.
-Cable can slip out of groove if you are not careful to follow instructions

Yes No Report as InappropriateI bought this to run v-brakes with road levers and figured it would work good enough to get by - my brakes have never felt so good!
I can't recommend this setup more.
Pros: v-brakes with road levers
Cons: the cable is a bit difficult to fish through
