Used when reducing travel on Fox fork from 120mm to 100mm. Seems to be ok..no better or worse than what came in the fork, which was probably the same stuff. Pros: No worse than what came in stock Fox Fork Cons: No better than what came in stock Fox Fork Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: November 03, 2012 Reviewed by: nodaknat, Oregon Was this review Helpful? Float Fluid Does exactly what it says on the bottle...Anti Friction Lube...and does it to factory specs. Pros: Designed for your fox products
enough in the bottle to do more than a few rebuilds Cons: None Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: September 16, 2012 Reviewed by: Powell J., Washington Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
Bottom line: If you're servicing your Fox fork, you will eventually need to change the float fluid. You can get little single-use packets, but they're not so easy to find and ordering from Fox is really expensive when it comes to shipping. This 8oz container is basically a lifetime supply. This fluid is recommended for all air spring lubing applications. I use it for Solo Air, Dual Air, Float, Talas, rear Floats, Monarchs, Vengeance and Velvet air springs etc. Works well, it is thick enough to stay in place and quite slippery. Pros: -Slippery
-Thick
-Provides good air seal
Cons: Expensive Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: March 25, 2012 Reviewed by: Rodrigo V., International Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
Good deal on the proper fluid Can't go wrong with the "real deal". Nice price for a large bottle of Float fluid for your Fox shock. This bottle should last me a long time. This what Fox specs for the use in the air chamber of their Float forks. Works great and so does my fork after learning to do some simple maintenance on it. This is essential for doing seal replacement on your fork. I actually rub some on the outer seal in really hot weather. Fox makes it well known the importance of servicing your fork, and it really isn't too hard. Pros: Specifically made for fork seals. Good lube and easy to use I've used this in my rear Float RP23 and DHX Air 5.0. It's easy to use and does a great job of lubing the shaft. After cleaning the shock and replacing it with Float Fluid the shock feels like butter again. I purchased this Fox Float Fuild after reading my fork maintenance manual. I only use it once or twice a year but I wanted to use exactly what the mfg recommended. I just poked a little hole in the security foil under the cap to dispense it. Pros: Compact bottle makes it easy to work with. Cons: None. Good stuff...necessary for proper fork maintenance. Much easier to pour a little bit out of this bottle than dealing with the small pillow-packs. Pros: -Works as advertised
