One of the lightest inner tubes Super light tube and a must have if you are a big weight weenie fan. Durable can be an issue but that's to be expected from super thin light tube. Great place to save some weight on your bike. And not costing you an arm or a leg to do it. Pros: Light, great from on road/smooth rides. Cons: Puncture easy Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: November 18, 2011 Reviewed by: Big John, Hong Kong Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
nice light tube. I prefer them to the silicon tubes, good for a spare one, since it's small. Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: May 06, 2011 Reviewed by: Arek S., New York Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
Definitely light, but not super durable (to be expected). I've used them in 24 hour races and they've held up the whole time, but they don't last on more rugged recreational rides. Pros: Light, strong enough for smooth trails Cons: Thin, but that's the point. Light! lie they say, they are light, that being said they will not hold up like a standard weight tube Pros: Super light Cons: puncture easy Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: November 21, 2010 Reviewed by: James H., Washington Was this review Helpful? MAXXIS FLYWEIGHT RACE TUBES TERRIBLE. Blew two of these in a 4 hour race. ZERO durability. If you weight under 100 lbs and ride smooth pavement, giv'r Pros: Light Cons: VERY fragile Would Buy Again: No Would Recommend: No Reviewed on: November 16, 2010 Reviewed by: Edan M., Vancouver, Canada Was this review Helpful? Crazy light tube I use these tubes as my racing only replacement, or with a combination of a beefy strong tire with a good sidewall. Would not recommend for everyday use or with a super light racing tire. You will shred this tube apart.
Great for bringing down rotational weight. Pros: maxxis quality.
Great for bringing down rotational weight.
Light weight as a backup in a camelback or jersey pocket Cons: not intended for everyday use/riding.

I bought these when I was trying to save some weight anywhere I could. However, I was let down by these tubes as they are very prone to punctures. Both my front and rear only lasted a ride or two and for me that's not worth the savings in weight. I think I'll stick with the Q Standard tubes and spend my money elsewhere as these tubes are too expensive. Pros: light weight Cons: prone to punctures, way too expensive Would Buy Again: No Would Recommend: No Reviewed on: September 11, 2010 Reviewed by: Matthew B., Oregon Was this review Helpful?
