Good, cheap and easy to deal with.

Oh if only other things were like this chain. Good, cheap, easy to deal with. Wears well. Strong. Easy to put together and take apart(if you have a master link tool). What more needs to be said?

Pros: Cheap, easy to install/remove, strong.

Cons: Need tool to deal with removal of master link.

Nice Master Link quick-connect

I've measure hardly any stretch over time, and it's holding up really nicely. The quick-connect master-link is really nice. The price is right, so I picked up a spare.

I am running these on my single speed drivetrain, works really well.

I use this chain on my kids bikes and on my trainer bike. Works well, is cheap and seems to last fairly well for the applications I use it on.

Very happy with this chain. I've only run it for about 1/2 a season so far but it's still in great shape. The shifting is nice and crisp. I like having the removable link to make it easy to remove the chain and clean out the drivetrain really well.

Solid, solid chain. I get a consistant 1500 miles on my road bike and 800 on my mountain bike out of these chains. Never had one break on me either. Great chain.

Pros: Reliability, price

Cons: Not as light as some.

New chain

I bought this to go with a new drive train. I went this rout only based on multiple reviews and price. It feels as good as my SRAM 990 chain but at half the $$$. Time will tell but so far so good

Strong and Inexpensive

I have always had the best luck with KMC chains. SRAM and Shimano chains break easily in my experience. If you have never broken a chain before, count yourself lucky. If you have, you know in that moment, that you would pay virtually any price to not have it happen again. Fortunately you don't have to pay a ton for quality and reliability. This chain (and even it's 9 speed sibling) is a worthy addition.

Pros: Strong
Inexpensive
Bright nickle plating is pretty

Cons: not as light as some others

10 speed chain

Installed this on my new bike running shimano 105. It is quiet and works well. The best think is the connecting link that allows me to take my chain off easily to pack my ritchey breakaway. You will need pliers to remove however.

Pros: similar to 9 speed power link connector from sram.

Cons: needs pliers to remove link. Sram I could remove with just my hands.

Nice 10-speed value

Relatively well priced for a 10-speed chain, and nice finish. I expect this will last fairly long, just based on the other KMC chains I've used. And of course, they have the good ol' "magic link" that all chains should come with. Works better than SRAM's offerings.

When my Shimano SLX chain exploded, I grabbed one of these to replace it. Nearly half the cost, just as light, has been more durable. The SLX stretched to 80% after 100 miles then broke, this chain has stretched 10% after 100 miles.

Pros: Light, affordable, durable

Cons: None

Great choice in a 10spd chain

Running on a Shimano XT drivetrain and works excellent. KMC chains have always worked great for me, good alternative to more expensive choices.

Pros: Price, missing link connector, not bad weight.

This is a great alternative to the SL chain. It only weighs a few grams more, but costs significantly less. Wears at about the same rate. A great chain.

Pros: Strong, and inexpensive. Still quite light.

I've run a few of these for Cross and so far the only issue I've ever had was a quick link snapped. Tried to install a Sram link cause that's all I had and couldn't get it to lock in. I ended up just using a chain breaker and removing a link.

Pros: Would buy again.

Cons: None really.

value packed

i run this chain on my training bike where i change out the chain every 6-8 weeks. running on an ultegra 6700 cassette 11-23 and dura ace 7800 crank, this chain works good enough. not as quick as a 7801 chain for this particular combination. if you need an inexpensive all around chain, this is it. although go for a more responsive one for race day (see cons for reason).

Pros: inexpensive, my local bike shop sells these for 6 bucks cheaper than here, sorry UC.

Cons: a bit sluggish on shifting from 53 to 39 compared to dura ace chain on a dura ace crank. occasional chain suck when shifting down under stress. a bit sluggish when shifting through the cassette compared to the immediate snap and shift a dura ace chain provides. but this wont bother most people.

I used it with a Campy 10s drive train and it worked reasonably well. Lasted about 2000 miles before it snapped. These chains do not shift as well as Campy chains. 4 stars because you can't expect much better for the price.

Pros: Good, cheap chain.
