FSA Wing Pro Shallow Drop Handlebars. Good bars for the price, short reach & drop is nice, and the flat top is easy on the hands. Pros: Looks and comfort. Ergonomic I love how easy it is to hit the drops and use the brakes. These bars are great, they just fit.
I bought the 44 and they are wide and comfortable, but seem to feel a little wider than they are.
Bought a second pair for my other bike.
Pros: Comfortable as heck Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: October 18, 2012 Reviewed by: Jon, Canada Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
Comfortable bar if you like a shorter reach and drp, nice flat top. Pros: Comfortable, inexpensive. Cons: None. Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: October 05, 2012 Reviewed by: Matt K., Pennsylvania Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
Great handlebar! Comfortable, easy to reach the brakes, stiff and light. The flared drops give a little more clearance when you're rocking the bike . Can't really think of anything bad! It's great for someone who doesn't want to have a drastic change in position when going between the drops and hoods. Pros: Like I said above, plus the flat top section is probably more aero than a typical round bar. Cons: A little pricey and some internal cable routing would be nice but that's really being picky! Great Value I have hte FSA K-wing bar compact(carbon ~ 300 clams) and this is the exact same bend (perfect for me). Very comfortable. It does not have the internal cable routing of carbon bar but for 1/6 the price who cares.
A very shallow drop and tight radius make it comfy. Pros: Great value compared to carbon bar - and jsut a very bit heavier. Cons: None. Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: March 22, 2012 Reviewed by: cam o., Alberta Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
Very stiff and light. The "wing" top really is an improvement, and there is a real reason why these are so popular. FSA are not kidding when they say "compact", and the reach just feels a bit shorter than the specs would suggest; you may find yourself wanting a longer stem. Good Value Simple and basic. Most comfortable bend i've used in a long time. I can't say anything bad about this bar. Stiff, reliable, low cost, great comfort. Pros: stiff, reliable, low cost, great bend, great comfort Cons: None Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: June 29, 2011 Reviewed by: Sylvio B., Washington Was this review Helpful? Finally, the perfect bar for me. Nice short drop. Nice short reach. The tops are HUGE and flat. This is where my hands are most of the time. Nice WIDE clamping area. Big enough for cross top brakes and other things like computers, lights, etc.
Transition to hoods is flat when the drops are lined up flat (which was the problem with many other bars I've tried.
Maybe I will finally start riding in the drops more. Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: March 02, 2011 Reviewed by: Ryan H., California Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
Perfect for long distane riders On a 8+ hour ride (let alone a 1000k brevet) you need comfort along with the multiple hand positions of a drop bar. You likely do NOT need aggressive deep drops for extreme aero positioning. The shallow drop means that you do get some advantage when in the drops, but your position will be more comfortable since it's still a bit upright.
The flat tops are fantastic.
This should also be a good choice for riders with small hands. Pros: Comfortable tops, comfortable, non-extreme aero positioning when in the drops Cons: Only available in 31.8 Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: January 01, 2011 Reviewed by: stuart s., Virginia Was this review Helpful? Great bar I installed this handlebar on my commuter and I love it. The short reach and drop make this compact bar extremely comfy for commuting use, and the flattened top section is really nice on the hands. Cable routing is easy. I enjoy having the wing, it has a different grip than others. Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: September 15, 2010 Reviewed by: Nick, Chicago Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
pretty stiff and light for a handlebar.Shallow drop allows more aggressive stance on the climb and responsive shifting. Great product recommended to all. Pros: Lightweight
Stiff
