The pump itself works great but the lever on the chuck is finicky. You have to get it just right otherwise it won't seal.

Pros: Pump works great and so does the gauge.

Cons: Lever on the chuck is finicky.

Expected better from Park

I had my old Planet Bike pump for at least a decade before I upgraded to Park's top-end tiered floor pump. I have to say I'm not as impressed as I thought I'd be. I have always thought of Park tools and the cat's meow so when I have to fidget with the valve head to get it to seat to Presta stems properly (sometimes 3-4 times), I can't help but feel disappointed. A buddy of mine recently got a Specialized floor pump and it's flawless. Engages withe ease every time. I wish my Park did the same.

Pros: Nice height, long hose, comfy ergonomic handle, accurate PSI gauge.

Cons: Plastic base, head is finicky when connecting to Presta valves.

Great Pump!

This is my first "real" floor pump. I've used a Joe Blow for several years, but decided to spring for this one. Absolutely the best pump I've ever owned.

Pros: easy to use
easy to read the guage
doesn't leak

Cons: can be difficult to remove from the valve stem.

Awesome pump

this pump is great! The tube is very long to go where you need it, and the head has both presta and shrader valves right next to each other. Also, it has a little needle for basketballs and stuff if you need that. Great, versatile pump.

Pros: has it all, works well

Cons: nada

Solid purchase

Doesn't pretend to be something that it is not. It is simply a pump that probably will not last a lifetime but will do exactly what you ask it to until it dies. Very lightweight because the parts are more plastic than anything. It is very easy to use, and gives an accurate reading each time. The dual function nozzle rivals any other pump out there. Don't spend more money than you have to, get this pump & you'll be happy.

Pros: locks onto valve easily every time
converts from schrader to presta without doing anything
looks cool
for the price, can't be beat. (even though Specialized pumps are very good as well).

Cons: can tell that many parts are plastic

Good Value for Money

You know your moving up in the world when you graduate from using a mini-pump for everything to having your own floor pump.

Pumping has never been so easy and tire pressure has never been so exact.

Pros: accurate, easy to use

Cons: lots of pressure build up that releases when you remove chuck from tire valve. It would be nice if there was a pressure release valve on the pump.

Park Pump

Upgraded to the PFP-4 when my PFP-6 failed. The 4 seams to be better constructed and I've had no issues.

Pros: Less plastic parts to fail, sturdier than the PFP-6

Cons: My clamp lever doesn't like to stay clamped

Great shop pump

I love this pump. I like the capacity to immediately engage with a schraeder or presta without having to worry about changing around the chuck configuration.
Effortlessly pumps large or small volume tires to full pressure.
The curved handle is very ergonomic.

Pros: Effortless pumping to pressure. No re-configuring necessary for valve types

Good product, although the Schrader pump comes really tight, needed to be opened to fit valve well. It stripped a few valves before it became looser. Finally, it started getting worn, so we bought the replacement head assembly, and then the pump seal went. Tried to take it apart to repair but the parts weren't replaceable.

Usually I expect good things from this company, this time I was disappointed, so we switched to another pump.

Pros: Solid floor base, worked well for a while.

Cons: Didn't last, needed parts replaced. Quality was a bit disappointing.

By far one of the best for the price. My roommate has a JoeBlow and this is better quality and has more volume of air per stroke. Can't even go wrong with Park Tools.

Park tools are the standard

The standard by which all other tools must compete. I did have one issue where the presta valve side got stuck. But being a tool company, the whole thing can be completely disassembled and rebuilt. Easy as pie after checking out park's website where they explain how to rebuild your pump. I love how Park builds things to last.

Pros: Well thought out ergonomics, gauge placement. No having to play with your valve hole to pump presta or schraeder.

Cons: Pump head is big and it takes a bit of tweaking to get a good fit on a valve when you let go of it.

Great pump.

I loaned my other floor pump to a friend who has yet to return it so I bought this one. Using a frame pump to inflate a set of new tires sucks. A good floor pump is where its at and this one delivers. Being a Park Tool pump, it's constructed beautifully and bombproof. Nice stable base, aluminum pump shaft and rubber grips. The gauge offers up measurements in PSI and BAR and a marker arrow in the bezel.
What I like about this pump: the high-mounted gauge so I don't have to lean over, the long inflation tube so it'll reach a tire on a bike still on a work stand and the nicely thought out inflation needle storage. For when you need to inflate a basketball or a pool float it's cleverly docked in a spot next to the gauge. A nice touch for an accessory that usually gets lost in the toolbox.

Pros: High mounted gauge, long inflation tube, included inflation needle. Nice details.

Cons: none.
