Great addition to saddle bag on race day, this tool has shown to be very useful. I run Sram XX groupo, so needed a t25 on hand for any on trail adjustments, so this works perfect.
Been carrying daily for 2 years and no issues, the metal case keeps it protected very well. Pros: Works great, Torx bit, chain break, all in a small container Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: May 15, 2013 Reviewed by: Robert N., Michigan Was this review Helpful? great tool Been using it since 2008.
Have not seen a reason to buy another one so I think that really says it all. Pros: everything I really need.
the thin profile is great for smaller seat bags Cons: the flask was a throw away item for me. and it is heavy. though I think the weight is what makes it indestructible Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: July 17, 2012 Reviewed by: Adam T. WOW! Speechless....This tool is already paying off in so many ways... What an easy and convenient way to have all of the most common tools at your fingertips...if you buy this you will not regret! Plump Nearly comprehensive set of tools for road-side repairs. Solid construction. The flask is designed for holding the tool -- not a flask for your favorite beverage -- fyi. Happy with my purchase, but wouldn't recommend. Pros: everything you need -- nice construction -- "pretty" Cons: not lite-weight Would Buy Again: No Would Recommend: No Reviewed on: March 12, 2012 Reviewed by: Jon F., Harrisubrg, Pa Was this review Helpful? A well thought out multi-tool that everyone should have in their camelbak. Packs up small in a nifty flask (really not necessary). Best multi-tool I've carried Over the 3+ years I've had this tool I've used every function of it, and it's never disappointed - and more importantly, it's always gotten me home.
The storage tube is a major plus. I can always find it in my bag, and it doesn't puncture anything in there with it, like my spare tube. Pros: Everything you need. And Cranks Bros. stuff is just beautiful. Cons: none Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: January 12, 2012 Reviewed by: Joshua T., Virginia Was this review Helpful? Nice Kit with Flask Comes in a nice package, probably everything you'll need out on the trail / road. Pros: Compact, flask makes it fit in seat bag nicely with other items Cons: Heavy with everything combined together. Trying to keep a multi-tool with every bike and this is a pretty great tool to carry around. It's decently light (at least compared to some other multi-tools i have) and has all the things you'd need while out on the road. Would definitely recommend. Pros: pretty light, price, tool selection is great Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: July 02, 2011 Reviewed by: Dan R. Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
Granted I am a fan of most of Crank Brothers products & this tool is close to perfection. It makes carrying most of the tools you would require on a ride small & compact. The flack is handy for preventing the tool from doing damage to packs/tubes in your bag. Feel good in hand & all part are quality made. The only multi tool I prefer more are from Pedros, they fit my hands better, but more importantly I think the Pedros ICM is a better more all encompassing tool. Pros: Well Built
Well Designed
Precise tools
Flask Cons: Not quite as good as Pedros ICM Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: April 08, 2011 Reviewed by: R. T., Manitoba Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
This is one of the best portable tool sets I have seen and the quality is unbeatable. Would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a portable pocket tool. tons of tools, small and compact. not to heavy Pros: easy to use, durable Cons: getting into some tight spaces is hard with the tools so close together Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: September 26, 2010 Reviewed by: Jeff, California Was this review Helpful? This is a handy tool that every cyclist should carry with them on every ride. the chain breaker is very good and has saved me more than once. Pros: Multitude of tools, cool colors, comes with a neat tin Cons: I received a severely scratched unit from UC and had to fix it up with my bench grinder. Crank Brothers Mulit-19 Tool w/Flask This is my 3rd CB multi tool. I don't see any reason to try any other as these always get the job done. Pros: Small, has almost all the tools I have ever needed. Cons: No Torx tool for XT chainrings, I thought the "flask" was a whiskey flask, it's just a case for the tool though. Crank Bros quality shines through once again. Best Multi-tool I've used. Much more durable than my last multi-tool (Topeak). Pros: Flask keeps tool organized and protects from damage. Quality is top notch. Cons: Flask lid could be designed to come off a little simpler, but not a big deal. Crank Brothers Mulit-19 Tool w/Flask Fits good in my small back pack. The flask helps keep it from poking things. Need a T15 for the new Sram stuff. Cons: Needs a T15 torx Would Buy Again: Yes Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: September 01, 2010 Reviewed by: matt w., Utah Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
Flask is useless I was all excited, and spent extra, to get the flask. Well, the flask is pretty much useless. Mine fits so tight that it takes at least 2 or 3 minutes of shaking, probing, and jamming to free the tool from it. Now the actual tool itself is grand. Pros: *Has lots of tools.
*Tools seem to be quality, used them quite a bit and haven't rounded or gouged.
*Light weight
*Tiny Cons: *Flask SUCKS. Buy a non-flask version.
*Fits somewhat awkwardly in your hand when you're wrenching. But hey. It's a multi tool to use on the trail not something you use a ton right?
