Miche 8/9 spd 1st Position Cogs

Review for 14t first position cog

I made a 6 speed cassette for my Pro II trials hub and this cog was instrumental in putting it together. The largest five cogs were off a standard 9 speed cassette (16,18,21,24,27) but you need a "first position" cog for the outermost one. I was lucky this thing exists. The only hitch is I needed a 12t lockring, the ordinary 11t is too small. Luckily I had one kicking around. Otherwise it went together and shifts like a match made in heaven.

The bonus is the chain is less likely to derail to the right since the cog has first position ramping (only meant to derail left).

Pros: I don't ride in the Tour de France, or even on smooth trails so I don't see why Shimano and SRAM are telling me I NEED an 11-tooth first cog. Thank you Miche for making these.
