Wippermann ConneX 808 Chain

Purchased this to replace a Shimano 7sp chain without having to used a chain removal for cleaning. The chain solidly locks and shifts smoother than my oem Shimano chain. After using the Wippermann chain I will never go back to using an oem chain again.

Pros: Shifts smooth and quiet.
Durable and looks great.
Price.

Great Chain!

I've used all kinds of chains over the years, and I keep coming back to Wippermann's - they are my go-to chains. This one perfect for 8 speed or single speed set up.

Pros: Good price, very durable and plenty smooth for 8 speed shifting.

Nice looking 8speed chain. Comes with a quick link connector.

Pros: Looks good in silver finish.

The 808 chain is what I use on my singlespeed XC bike. Haven't broken or dropped this chain yet and don't think I will. My bike was caught out in the rain one weekend and some rust formed on some links, put a few dabs of ProLink oil and its good as new.

A super shiny and well made chain, I've had good luck with it in single speed and fixed gear applications.

Pros: Wippermann quality shines through. Literally. It's almost blinding.

Wippermann Chain, for me, are the best chains in the bike industry. May be it is because chains is what they do, bicycle chains are only a small fraction of their business. They make chains for all sort of industrial applications. That is probably one of the reasons they make impeccable chains for bikes.

This particular chain is no exception. It comes with the best quicklink in the business, nickel plated, meticulous precision. This chain has exceeded my expectations, last one entire summer on a SS drivetrain, it always ran flawlessly, never had a mechanical & held the lube well.
