Fluid Trainer This is my first trainer experience, so take it for what it's worth. Bought this based on reviews, and on the magnetic coupling technology. No penetration seals, less leaks, less mess. The trainer works well, but doesn't have as much resistance as I'd like. I can run my max gear for quite a time before feeling the burn. I'l like a larger range. The unit seems well made, except the plastic piece that connects the business end to stand. It is cheap, not well made, poorly designed, and not stable. This issue is that the bolt through it has narrower threads on one side than the non-threaded side on the other. Thus the contraption wants to tilt when pressure is applied, like when contacting a tire. This needs some work, but still performs OK. Pros: Good fluid action, not too painfully loud, nice stand, good clamping mechanism. Cons: Cheap plastic connection between stand and moving parts. Not enough range at the high end. Still makes noise. Would Buy Again: No Would Recommend: Yes Reviewed on: March 07, 2011 Reviewed by: Nathan G., California Was this review Helpful? Yes No Report as Inappropriate
