Bar ends are still kewl
Ok, big, huge tree catchers are not cool at all. But I like the minimalist version. They don't make your bike look like a moose, they add a degree of leverage and really help with hand fatigue. These are cheap and light and allow a natural grip towards the center of the bar.
Pros: Cheap, fairly light, not an aesthetic monster.
Cons: Difficult to keep from slipping- but the bar is part of the problem as well. I'll probably end up using a shim from a bicycle tube.
4.5 stars.

COmfortable addition to flat bars that offer a break to hands and wrists on long rides. Watch out they will snag branches if your on single track and cutting it close.
Pros: Comfortable rest position
Cons: Can snag, and need a bit of tension to clamp and get to stay in position.
